CABINET PULLS PART THREE: LEATHER AND METAL / by Caroline Wilding

With cabinet pulls there is an opportunity to add a sensual, elevated experience to your daily life. I have always tended toward real materials, particularly my favorite combination of brass and leather. That being said, don't put a leather cabinet pull in any wet area or a place where your hands might get dirty (bath, kitchen, wet bar) as it would easily stain in and you won't be able to sanitize them. I think these pulls are perfect in a master closet, high-end retail spaces, a furniture piece or office environments.

Here are a few I am obsessing over lately. The Leather Recessed Pull by Made Measure is sleek and minimal- it has an understated elegance and adds the perfect tactile element. The other pull is the Kennaston Drawer Pull by Rejuvenation. I love the combination of metal and leather and the minimal, timeless design of the pull.
